Only available at Counting Flowers! Extraordinary scarf from cotton and silk, made in weaving country Bhutan. Handcrafted in the Buddhist colour orange and covered with intricate and colourful symbols.

This unique scarf is made by master weaver Kelzang. Kelzang is from Lhuntse, a Province wellknown for its vast amount of women artisans specialised in weaving highly complex and intricate figures.

The design of this scarf (silk pattern on cotton ground) is based on the 'Kera', the traditional Bhutanese belt for women.

Kelzang's designs are so popular these days that she can provide around one hundred women with daily weaving work.
