This unique scarf is made by master weaver Kelzang. Kelzang is from Lhuntse, a Province wellknown for its vast amount of women artisans specialised in weaving highly complex and intricate figures.
The design of this scarf (silk pattern on cotton ground) is based on the 'Kera', the traditional Bhutanese belt for women.
Kelzang's designs are so popular these days that she can provide around one hundred women with daily weaving work.
