Wool shawls and scarves from India
2014-07-10 - Counting Flowers is now working with Pashm, a social enterprise that supports weavers in the North of India. The artisans weave beautiful scarves and shawls from merino wool and from a blend of merino wool and, very unique, oak silk.
Oak silk is derived from a local silk moth that feeds on oak leaves only. This butterfly has its habitat in the woods in the Indian Himalayas where the weavers live.
